The Lichen Collective
Artist Statement:
The Lichen Collective is a queer design studio exploring the intersections of creativity, identity, and the natural world.
As two queer creatives, we couldn’t find a space to make — a space to design within that embraced the complexities of identity, woven into the creative practices of our community. So we created The Lichen Collective — a safe space for ourselves, our friends, and our community that embraces our unique identities through the common thread of creativity. We believe creativity belongs to everyone and what we make together far surpasses what any one person could make alone.
