The Fisher Art Markets are meant to be a community experience. Our goal is to create a supportive network of artists. We strive to have a variety of makers at each market. We look to include artists who are new to selling their work to setup next to folks that are well versed in the market scene. We hope this helps to foster relationships in the amazing maker community of Salt Lake. Each market will have 15-20 different artists in attendance and every month is a whole new group of artists.

Applying
We are looking to support local artists that are creating handmade work. This can range from 2D artwork, ceramics, fiber art, glass work, photography, wood working, jewelry, handmade accessories, flower arrangements, food, hand-poured candles and so much more.

Important Dates
January 31st - Applications Open
February 14th - Applications Close
March 1st - Artists are notified of their accepted, waitlisted or declined* application via email.
(*please keep in ming we really don’t enjoy turning people away but we also do not have enough spots for the number of applicants that apply)
Imagery
We request that you submit imagery with your application. We use the imagery to help select different artists for each market so that you work will stand out! This is your time to SHINE! Please send us the photos that represent your work the best. We will be using these images for promotion so take a moment to review some of the images from our past vendors to get ideas on how to take quality images. `
Fees
This market is meant to be a supportive market to help local artists! The market fee for 2024 will be $10. This fee helps us cover some of the general costs to run the market. The organizers do NOT keep any of the fees! We use it to pay for things to promote the market (like this website) and the rest of the money is donated to a non-profit.
2024 Non-Profit Partner
The Fisher Art Market partners each year with a non-profit to donate the artist’s fees back to. We are excited to work with Project Rainbow for the Summer 2024 Market season. They will be joining us April 10th and September 11th.
Promotion
The Fisher Art Market instagram account is where the majority of promotion for the market occurs. We encourage you to give us a follow @FisherArtMarket Each artist will be given a highlight that includes the imagery and artist bio you submit in your application. We will also create a landing page on this website with a link to your website or instagram account so that customers can easily find your work again. You can find the 2022 artist page here and the 2023 artist page here. Fisher Brewing also shares instagram posts about the markets on their account with over 17K followers.
