Artist Statement:
RKartwork is owned and operated by artist Rachel Kozlowski. Her work is inspired by her time spent outdoors. Primarily focusing on animals as the subject matter, Rachel creates artwork that celebrates their natural adaptations and the habitats that they thrive in. Her anthropomorphic approach to these animal portraits is a way to infuse a bit of whit and whimsy while fostering an appreciation for nature.
Rachel likes to work with various mediums including ceramics, textiles, pen, and watercolor. She enjoys creating both decorative and functional pieces of artwork so you can appreciate the great outdoors, even indoors.
