Artist Statement:
Hi there! My name is Meghan, but everyone calls me Leggy. Hence the name: LeggyMade
My artwork is inspired by the joy that outdoor play gives me. I lead with a curious and creative heart, always wondering what is around the next switchback or what will happen when my favorite peak is painted in a whole new color scheme. I like forward movement. Sometimes this means putting my energy into ultra running and sometimes this is shown in my art. When painting, I don't like to settle on an idea for too long, I like adding layers and moving from one piece to another, allowing an organic flow to occur. Since I am always moving through my work in this way, I end up with a lot of art made. I sell all originals for this reason, never having made prints of my work yet. I love that someone can take home an affordable little piece of work that is 100% unique.
