Artist Statement:
I create with my artwork with watercolors and water that I wild forage across the state of Utah and the Mountain West. I’ll incorporate snowmelt, river water, lake water into my paintings to provide a more tangible connection between a viewer and the special places I choose to paint.
Born and raised in Utah, my parents first took me camping at the tender age of 6 weeks. Time spent outdoors informs my appreciation for the landscapes of the west. I draw inspiration from my escapades while hiking, skiing, mountain biking, and floating down rivers on a raft or paddleboard.
I offer stickers, art prints, original work mounted to beechwood panels, framed work, and unique one offs like hand-painted howitzer shells obtained from the avalanche mitigation team at Alta Ski Area. There’s a little something for everyone who loves Utah, the outdoors, biking, hiking, skiing, and snowboarding.
