Claire Taylor Art
Artist Statement:
Claire Taylor is a visual artist, illustrator, arts educator, and arts administrator based in Salt Lake City, UT. She works in mixed media on paper, relief printmaking and book art. Her work is informed by the permeable nature of the urban wilderness interface of Salt Lake City, which reflects her interests in ecology and wildlife. Her process of art-making serves as an existential exploration, and conveys the intelligence and agency of non-human animals, plants and landscapes.
